MyJobs Tracker · early access · plain-English summary
These AI Terms explain how the AI features of MyJobs Tracker work and your responsibilities when using them. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
This document is written in English; the Chinese text is a courtesy translation for convenience. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails.
To generate fit-reviews, CVs, cover letters and chat replies, and to read images/voice notes you upload, we send the relevant content you provide — which may include your CV, job descriptions, profile details, chat messages and uploaded media — to the third-party AI providers listed on our Sub-processors page. These providers are based only in the United States and the EU. We rely on their API terms that they do not train their models on API-submitted content, where available, and we never train our own models on your content.
AI output is generated automatically and can be inaccurate, outdated, biased, incomplete or entirely made up ("hallucinations"). It is advisory only — not professional, legal, financial or career advice. You must review, edit and verify anything before relying on it or sending it to an employer, and you are responsible for ensuring any CV or application you submit is truthful.
You make all decisions about your job search and applications. MyJobs Tracker does not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects (UK GDPR Article 22 is not engaged).
Please avoid putting information you would not want processed by third-party AI providers into your profile, chats or uploads — including special-category data (health, religion, race or ethnicity, and similar). If you choose to include it, you are choosing to send it to the AI providers that process it.
Most models are accessed through OpenRouter (our AI gateway) pinned to US-based inference hosts under a zero-data-retention policy, so that content is processed in the United States. Our optional Mistral models are called directly on Mistral AI's EU endpoint (France) under zero-data-retention — EU-default (some Mistral sub-processors may process outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses). Processing normally stays within the United States or the EU; the only exception is the disclosed case of Mistral's own sub-processors, which operate under Standard Contractual Clauses. The default free model is DeepSeek v4 Pro (a 500K-credit trial), then DeepSeek v4 Flash. The exact provider and region of each model is shown in the model picker. For consistency, the numeric fit-review score is produced by a fixed scoring model (currently DeepSeek v4 Pro) regardless of which model you pick for analysis and chat, and a score is kept until your profile or the job description changes — re-running a review on unchanged inputs returns the same score rather than a new roll. Zero-data-retention covers the prompt and response content at the AI providers; the gateway still keeps limited request metadata (e.g. token counts), and MyJobs stores your account and content as set out in our Privacy Policy.
You must not use the AI features to: break the law; generate unlawful, hateful, harassing or harmful content; impersonate others or create deceptive job applications; attempt to extract other users' data, our prompts, keys or secrets; or overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service. We screen for clearly harmful content and may refuse, remove it, or suspend accounts that breach this.
AI features run on your plan's allowance, shown as "credits" (a display unit, not money). When the allowance is used up, AI features step down to a basic mode or pause until it refreshes; job tracking stays free. See how billing works.
CV generation includes an optional "job-title alignment" setting, off by default. When you switch it on, AhBiao may present a role under the market-standard name for work your profile genuinely evidences — and always keeps your original title visible alongside it, e.g. "Product Manager (originally: Programme Executive)". It never changes employers, dates or seniority, and never invents duties to justify a title. Every alignment made is listed on the role's timeline and remains visible in the document itself. You are responsible for what you send: check that any aligned title fairly describes your work — employers and reference checks may verify job titles.
